Rick McGuire has been flying since 1969. He was a corporate and 135 pilot and was trained by Braniff Airlines. He
hold a Flight Instructor Certificate along with an Instrument Instructor rating and Multi Engine Instructor. He is a licensed
Aircraft Dispatcher and holds an Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructors license. He has in excess of 12,000 hours with
over 4000 hours of instruction time.
McGuire is also a licensed attorney who practices aviation law.
McGuire owns a Mooney M-20F that has been highly modified. He has developed a curriculum for "on the edge" training
to get the most out of your Mooney. He specializes in emergency proceedures, especially short field emergency landings and
night landings. Perfect Mooney landings are taught to every student.
McGuire also owns a Cessna 340 and a Cessna
172 that is fully instrument equipped. The modern and GPS equipped 172 is used for instrument and primary training.
McGuire also provides aircraft in Fredericksburg, Texas for training. The Fredericksburg
training has a modern Cessna 172 and a Cessna 150.
McGuire also can
provides training in Mountain flying as he has spent numerous hours in the western United States flying in and out of high
altitude airports.
McGuire teaches professional flying to pilots
who want to use their aircraft for business and professional use. This allows pilots to circumvent the air carriers.
McGuire believes in a one-on-one accelerated training program from start to finish. Full instruction is available
including Biennual Flight Reviews and Instrument Competency checks.
